There are dozens of restaurants around the Capitol Square and on State Street, ranging from good cheap eats to some of the most sophisticated dining in the Midwest. The Orpheum Theatre’s Lobby Restaurant is certainly one of the most convenient choices for festival-goers (orpheumtheatre.net). Check the Isthmus’s online dining guide for other options (thedailypage.com/eats).

Some of the Festival theaters will have concessions available; the UW Cinematheque, Monona Terrace, and Madison Museum of Contemporary Art do not allow food or drink other than water. Please, no outside food or drink in any of the festival theaters.
